ESCANABA, MI – For the fourth time this season, and seventh in her career, Tori Jandt (SO, Peshtigo, WI) has been named the MCCAA Northern Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

The Norse had two matches during the week.  On Monday, October 9 Jandt picked up 15 digs at Delta College.  In the last home match of the season for Bay, Tori scrapped for 25 digs against Alpena Community College, giving her a total of 40 digs in seven sets for the week.

Jandt continues to rack up the awards as she was named to the MCCAA Honorable Mention All-Conference team a year ago as a freshman, in a year where she picked up Defensive Player of the Week recognition three times.

The Norse finish off conference play Tuesday evening at Montcalm Community College.  The regular season schedule wraps up on Saturday with a  trip to Gogebic Community College.
