Tori Jandt: Defensive Player of the Week

ESCANABA, MI – Bay College's Tori Jandt (SO, Peshtigo, WI) was named the MCCAA Northern Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season. 

The Norse had three matches during the week of September 25 through October 1, all at home.  In a win over Montcalm on Monday Jandt collected 15 digs and three aces.  On Wednesday she helped the Norse to a sweep again, this time over Gogebic, where she picked up 22 digs and three more aces.  On Saturday the Norse fell to Milwaukee Area Tech 3-1, but Jandt was credited with 21 digs.

For the week Tori totaled 58 digs in ten sets.

In her two-year career at Bay this is the sixth time Jandt has been awarded Defensive Player of the Week.

The Norse get back into conference action this week with a trip to North Central Michigan on Tuesday, followed by home matches with Muskegon on Friday and Grand Rapids on Saturday.
