ESCANABA, MI – Bay College's Siena Lingle (FR, Marquette, MI) was named the MCCAA Northern Conference Player of the Week for her efforts in the week of January 29 through February 4.

Lingle helped lead the Norse in their effort to extend their winning streak to 11 games with a pair of victories during that time period.  On Wednesday the Norse won big at Kirtland Community College by a final score of 124-33.  Lingle finished just shy of a quadruple-double, amassing 25 points, nine rebounds, 14 assists, and 14 steals.

On Saturday the Norse won a big game against #13 ranked and previously undefeated Mid Michigan College.  Lingle's 22 points, five rebounds, six assists, and three steals pushed Bay past the Lakers for a 73-66 victory.

For the week Lingle averaged 23.5 points, seven rebounds, ten assists, and 8.5 steals per game.
