PALATINE, IL – The Bay College Women's Basketball Team (6-1) cruised to a 91-18 victory over the Harper College Hawks (0-6) on Saturday afternoon.

Bay College was in control from start to finish, and allowed just three points in the first quarter before calling off their trademark press for the rest of the contest.  The Norse led 49-10 at the half.

Bay continued to roll in the second half, outscoring their hosts 42-9.  They were led by Trish McGuire (FR, Gwinn, MI) who scored a career high 17 points.  Kelsea Ackerman (SO, Munising, MI) hit two three-pointers on her way to 13 points, while Brooke Dalgord (SO, Garden, MI) added 12 points.  Haley Trudell (SO, Rock, MI) also ended up draining two from behind the three-point arc, and ended her day with 11 points

Enna Woke led the Hawks with seven points, while Christina DiMarini added five.

Full statistics were not immediately available after the game.

"I thought our players did a great job of staying focused for forty minutes," said Head Coach Rob Robinson.  "It allowed us to work on a few things we need to clean up heading into this week."

The Norse return home for a Monday matchup with Alpena Community College.  That game is scheduled to start at 5:30 pm.
