ESCANABA, MI - Head Softball Coach Heidi Charon announced that the scrimmages originally scheduled for October 13 have been rescheduled for October 20.

The Norse were scheduled to travel to Hancock to face the Finlandia Lions on Sunday.  Due to the forecast of frigid temperatures and potential for precipitation, Coach Charon cited safety concerns as the reason for cancelling the doubleheader.  The two teams were able reschedule, finding an opening for those scrimmages on Sunday, October 20.  First pitch is scheduled for noon.
