ESCANABA, MI - The Bay College Norse (15-7) would use a big first half offensive outpouring to bury the Lake Superior State JV team on Tuesday evening.  The Norse would win by a final of 99-52.

Bay College would shoot 71.4% from the floor in the first half.  That included going 25 of 35 from the floor and four of ten from behind the three-point arc.  With just over 13 minutes left in the first half, the Lakers would pull to within four, but the Norse would respond with a 36-4 run over the next ten minutes that would put the home team in control.  Bay would lead by a score of 60-21 heading into the locker room at the half.

The LSSU attack would find some footing in the second half, improving to 36.4% from the floor, including going seven of twenty from three, but the Norse would remain very efficient offensively.  Bay would hit on 13 of 23 attempts in the second half, and would never allow their opponents to close the gap.  The Norse would defend their home floor with a 99-52 win.

Bay would shoot 65.5% for the game and outrebound the Lakers 39-23.  The Norse would go to the free throw line 19 times, converting 15 of those attempts, while the visiting LSSU team would go just four of seven from the charity stripe.  Bay would dominate the inside game, scoring 56 points in the paint, while the Lakers would score just 18.

Ryan Robinette (FR, Escanaba, MI) would lead the Norse with 15 points, four rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block.  Marcus McKenney (SO, Menominee, MI) would tally 12 points and five assists, while Christian Alexander (FR, Dorset, UK) would also add 12 points.  Ryan Arndt (FR, Bark River, MI) would go three of six from three and total 11 points, while Logan Hardwick (FR, Rapid River, MI) would score ten points and grab eight rebounds.

The Lakers' Tanner Huotari would end his night with 12 points and three steals.  Adam Moffatt would score ten points in the game.

The Norse are on the road Saturday as they take on the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats in Milwaukee, WI.  That game is scheduled to tip at 4 PM.
