Norse Win Big on the Road

CHICAGO, IL - The Bay Norse Women's Basketball team (13-5) continued their hot streak and beat a shorthanded Kennedy-King Statesmen (1-14) by a final score of 99-25.

Taylor Hunter (FR, Gladstone, MI) would lead all scorers with 17 points.  Brooke Dalgord (FR, Garden, MI) would add 16 poitns, while Juliann Wickman (FR, Felch, MI) and Haley Trudell (FR, Rock, MI) would add 13 points apiece.  Jordan Kraemer (SO, Norway, MI) would end her game with 12 points.  All 12 Norse players would end up scoring in the game.

The Statesmen would suit up just five players for the contest.  LaMichael Dean (SO, Chicago, IL) would lead her team with 15 points.  Diamone McKinney (FR, Chicago, IL) added five points, Kyaisha Hooks-Johnson (FR, Chicago, IL)  would score three points, and Tainika Leach (SO, Chicago, IL) would round out the scoring with two points.

Full statistics were not available after the game.

The Norse will look to continue their win streak during this three-game road trip.  They will faceoff with Bryant & Stratton College (WI) in Milwaukee at 6:30 on Wednesday.  They have also added a game on Thursday night.  The Norse have accepted the invitation to meet up with UW-Milwaukee, Waukesha at 8:15 PM.
