ESCANABA, MI – The Bay College Norse (9-8) would grab an early lead and cruise to a big victory at home over the UW Fond du Lac Falcons (7-4) on Wednesday night.  The Norse would take the game by a final score of 87-38.

An early 12-2 run would open up the game for Bay College and they would take a lead they would never surrender.  The Norse would hit 11 of their 15 attempts from the field in the opening quarter, including three of three from behind the arc, as they would build a 25-11 in that period.  The home team would continue to build their lead in the second quarter, creating six turnovers on their way to a score of 46-22 at the half.

While the Norse would continue to shoot the ball well in the second half, their defense would start to shut down the Falcon offense.  UW Fond du Lac would shoot just 20.8% in the second half, while Bay would eliminate second chance opportunities for their guests, outrebounding the Falcons 29-9 in the second half.

The Norse would end the game shooting 49.3% from the field and 40.3% from behind the three-point arc.  Bay College would outrebound the Falcons 47-26, as well as piling up ten steals that contributed to 17 UW Fond du Lac turnovers in the game.
