FORT PIERCE, FL – The Bay Softball Team (2-9) lost a 21-1 decision to the Indian River State College Pioneers (12-3).

The Norse tied the game in the bottom of the first, after collecting two hits.  Kaitlyn Hardwick (SO, Gladstone, MI) beat out a throw to the plate on a bunt by Sarah Wynn (FR, Pitt Meadows, BC).

It was all Pioneers after that.  They would collect four runs in the second, 12 in the third, and four more in the third.  Indian River collected 19 hits in the game and smashed five homeruns in the game as they cruised to the big victory at home.

Jaeden Williamson (SO, Bartow, FL) was credited with the win.  She struck out five in three innings, giving up four hits and a run. 

Karlie Patron (FR, Ishpeming, MI) took the loss.

The Norse take on Eastern Florida State College on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm.
