Softball Announces 2019 Summer Pitching Clinic

ESCANABA, MI - Bay College Softball Head Coach Heidi Charon has announced the Norse Softball Team will host a Pitching Clinic on July 24 and 25.  Bay Softball Pitching Coach Lesley Delvaux will head the instruction.

Interested participants between the ages of 7 and 10 would participate in the July 24 session.  Pitchers between the ages of 11 and 17 are invited to participate in the July 25 session.  Both days the sessions will run from 4 to 7 pm.  The clinic will be held at the Bay College Softball Field, located at the Wells Sports Complex.  Cost is $45 per participant and each pitcher must supply their own catcher.  Each session will be limited to 30 participants.

Lesley (Noel) Delvaux played Division 1 college softball in the Big Ten Conference at Michigan State University from 2004-2008. She is in MSU's top ten all-time list for career wins, innings pitched, complete games, shutouts, and strikeouts. Prior to her time at MSU, she played for Escanaba High School where she led the 2003 Varsity team to take second in the state and was named to the Division 1 All-State team in 2003 and 2004. She has over ten years of experience as a private and professional pitching coach. Lesley will be joined by Bay College Norse softball players and the rest of the Bay College coaching staff.
