ESCANABA, MI - The Bay Norse Softball Team (25-7) has announced that they have cancelled the softball games scheduled for Wednesday afternoon against Silver Lake College.

Due to frigid temperatures, and the precipitation forecasted, the concern for health and safety became too great, forcing the cancellation of the home doubleheader for the Norse.  It brings an end to the regular season schedule for Bay College, as they prepare for the NJCAA Region XIII Tournament this weekend.

Bay finishes their first ever season with 25 wins and seven losses.  Their play throughout the season has earned them the second seed in the Region Tournament.  Play begins on Friday, May 3 in Glendive, Montana.
