Grayson Named Player of the Week for Second Consecutive Week

Lamar Grayson

ESCANABA, MI – For the second consecutive week Lamar Grayson (SO, Richfield, MN) has been named the MCCAA Northern Conference Player of the Week for his performance during the week of January 23-29.

Despite missing Wednesday's game against Alpena Community College due to an illness, Grayson's performance in Saturday's game was enough to earn him the honor for the second time this season.

At Delta College Lamar racked up 30 points, grabbed one rebound, and had four assists and two steals.  He was ten of 20 from the floor, two of four from three-point, and eight of 13 from the free throw line.  Grayson's play helped Bay College come out on top with a 100-90 victory.  With the win the Norse remained undefeated in conference play.

This is the third time this season that a Bay College Men's Basketball Player has received the Player of the Week honors and Grayson's second.  The Norse joined the Michigan Community College Athletic Association prior to the 2022-2023 academic year.
