ESCANABA, MI – Bay College Athletics announced another schedule change with the Norse Winter Classic scheduled for his weekend.  Due to COVID protocols with multiple teams, Bay College will host South Suburban College on Saturday afternoon in men's and women's action.  No games will be played on Sunday.

The tournament was originally scheduled to take place over two days and include men's and women's teams from Bay College, Gogebic Community College, Rock Valley College, and South Suburban College.  COVID protocols reduced the number of women's teams participating earlier in the week.  New concerns officials at all schools involved have decided to exercise caution with all parties involved. 

The Norse Women's Basketball Team will faceoff with South Suburban College at 1 pm on Saturday afternoon.  At approximately 3 pm the Norse Men's Basketball Team will challenge the NJCAA Division 2 #1 ranked team.  The South Suburban College Bulldogs enters the matchup with a 14-0 record.

Bay College continues to welcome spectators at home events with the understanding that there is a masking mandate in place on campus.  Regardless of vaccination status, everyone indoors on campus is required to be fully masked whenever possible.
