MANITOWOC, WI – The Norse Men's Basketball team (13-7) would get double-digit scoring from four players on their way to an 87-66 victory over the UW Manitowoc Blue Devils (6-12) on the road Wednesday night.

Though the Norse would lead throughout much of the first half, the Blue Devils would use a 9-2 run to grab a two-point lead midway through the first half.  Bay would respond, flipping the momentum in their favor and ending the half outscoring their hosts 14-4.  Kobi Barnes (FR, Milwaukee, WI) would be the spark that would get his team going, netting 14 points and grabbing nine rebounds in the first half, leading the Norse to a 28-20 lead at the half.

Bay would stay in control from there, and stretch out to a 20-point lead with 13:28 remaining.  The Blue Devils really wouldn't have an answer as the Norse would hit on 25 of 39 field goal attempts in the second half, an outstanding 64.1%.  The margin would swell to as many as 26 at one point, as the Norse would cruise to a 21-point victory.

Despite an overall poor performance from behind the arc for the Norse (4 of 19) they would shoot 48.6% for the game and outrebound UW Manitowoc 50-37.  Bay would attack the rim all night long, totaling 60 points in the paint in the contest.

Barnes would end up leading all scorers with 22 points.  He would also grab 13 rebounds and end with six blocks.  Dre Tuominen (FR, Negaunee, MI) tallied 19 points, six rebounds, and three assists, while Tyler Willette (FR, Escanaba, MI) would add 18 points.  Alonzo Fields (FR, Milwaukee, WI) would contribute 12 points, six rebounds, and three assists.
