ESCANABA, MI – The Bay College Athletic Department has announced some schedule changes for both the baseball and softball home opener against Delta College this weekend.

The programs will be looking to avoid the forecasted rain coming in Saturday evening and have decided to move the slate of games up one day.  Baseball will make their 2023 home debut at 2 pm on Thursday afternoon, and softball will follow suit with a 3 pm first pitch on Thursday.  Both teams will play a doubleheader.

Friday will see games three and four of the series with first pitch scheduled for 1 pm for both teams.  The series finale will be a single game on Saturday and is slated to start at 11 am. 

Both teams are in their first year of play in the MCCAA Conference.  Softball is just two games out of first place in a tightly packed MCCAA Northern Conference, while baseball has stumbled out of the gates and will look to right the ship this weekend.  Both teams utilize the fields at the Wells Sports Complex.
