Norse Baseball and Softball Games on the Air This Week

ESCANABA, MI – The Norse Baseball and Softball teams are proud to announce that the continued partnership with RRN Sports will allow several of their games to be on the air throughout the spring break trip in Florida.

Overall, 15 games will air on the RRN family of radio stations, with Jack Hall making the trip south for the week.  All games will be on the stations as listed below, and can be found at www.rrnsports.com (AM 600 and FM 93.5), www.radioresultsnetwork.com (Maverick 106.3), and will be linked to the schedules for the perspective sports that are on the air.

Both teams will have their openers on the air.  Norse Softball (1-1) starts things off on Saturday, March 7 with a doubleheader against Sinclair Community College starting at 9 am.  Those games will be broadcast on Maverick 106.3.  The day continues as the Norse Baseball Team opens their season at 3:30 pm against The University of Northwestern (MN) on AM 600 and 93.5 FM.  The night finishes with a baseball matchup against Washington College.

Softball gets the airtime on Sunday as they take on Macomb Community College at noon and the Community College of Rhode Island at 2:30 pm.  Those games will be on AM 600 and 93.5 FM.

The scene shifts back to baseball on Tuesday for a three-day stretch.  On Monday the Norse faceoff with Hagerstown Community College and Miami University-Hamilton at 1 pm and 4 pm.  On Tuesday the Norse challenge ASA College of Miami in a doubleheader starting at 1 pm.  Those four games will be on AM 600 and FM 93.5.  On Wednesday morning the 10 am Bay against The College of Lake County will air on Maverick 106.3.  The afternoon game switches back to AM 600 and 93.5 FM at 1 pm when the Norse play Nyack College.

The week finishes off with softball as they have a doubleheader on Thursday with Spoon River Community College.  The games will start at 2 pm.  The week ends with a 9 am single game against The County College of Morris.  All three of the final games will be on AM 600 and 93.5.
