ESCANABA, MI – Bay College baseball and softball have announced their fall schedule, which includes multiple home scrimmage dates for baseball and a weekend classic for softball.
Norse Baseball will kick off the fall home scrimmage schedule with a three-game series against the defending NJCAA Division 3, Region 12 champion Delta College. The series will feature a doubleheader on Saturday, September 28 at 1 pm and will conclude with a single, nine-inning game on Sunday, September 29.
Bay College Softball then takes the spotlight on October 5 and 6 when they welcome Alpena Community College and Northern Michigan Club Team to Wells Sports Complex. The Norse will face Alpena at 11 am and NMU at 1 pm on Saturday. They will then challenge the same two teams on Sunday, with first pitch against Alpena coming at noon, followed by a 2 pm scheduled start against Northern Michigan.
The baseball team continues their fall schedule the following weekend when they play host to Michigan Tech's Club Team. The Saturday, October 12 doubleheader is set for a 1 pm start, and will be followed with a single, nine-inning game on Sunday October 13, starting at noon.
Norse Baseball is also scheduled to host Milwaukee Area Technical College on October 19. The doubleheader is scheduled for a noon start.
